Witch Finder (also called Witch Finder Dating or WFD) is a dating and community app for witches, pagans, Wiccans, tarot readers, astrologers and spiritual seekers. It combines a swipe-to-match dating deck called the Flame, a community feed called the Coven, and daily mystical tools such as tarot, a dream journal, a shared spellbook and a herb and crystal reference. It is available on iPhone, iPad and Android for adults 18 and over.

No. Dating is one tab, but the app opens on the Coven, a community feed where members post, share rituals and talk with people on the same path. Many members use Witch Finder to make witchy friends, learn from other practitioners and keep a daily practice, with or without looking for a partner.

Witch Finder is for adults who practice or are drawn to witchcraft, paganism, Wicca, tarot, astrology and neighbouring paths, including spiritual seekers, solitary practitioners and people who run gatherings or sell spiritual goods. You do not need to be an expert — “Not sure yet” is a welcome answer.

You can pick interests such as Tarot, Astrology, Moon magic, Crystal, Candle magic, Divination, Runes, Reiki, Fae, Folklore, Green, Hedge, Kitchen, Hereditary, Cosmic and Wiccan, and beliefs such as Paganism, Norse, Celtic, Ceremonial, Chaos, Eclectic, Elemental, Shamanism, Mysticism and Ancestors. There is also a free-text field for what you are studying, so you can describe your path in your own words.

Yes. Members can identify as a woman, man, non-binary or other, choose orientations including gay, lesbian, bisexual, pansexual, asexual and queer, and choose to meet women, men, non-binary people or everyone. Gender and orientation can be hidden on your public profile. Inclusivity is one of the app’s stated values.

Yes. When you set up your profile you can say you are looking for long-term dating, short-term dating, new friends, or that you are not sure yet. The Coven community feed is also a place to meet people without swiping at all.

In the Flame you see profiles nearest first, filtered by the distance, age range and genders you choose. Swipe right to like and left to pass; when two people both swipe right it is a match and you can chat. Each card shows a light zodiac compatibility read based on the four elements — fire, earth, air and water — plus how well your “looking for” choices line up.

You choose a discovery distance anywhere from 10 to 10,000 miles, and an age range from 18 to 100. Witch Finder is a niche community, so widening your distance usually shows more people on your path.

Version 3.0 lets you drag your photos into any order (the first photo becomes your main photo everywhere), brings back “What I’m looking for” as a real discovery filter, adds Polyamorous and Open Relationship as looking-for options, shows free members how many messages they have left today, makes sure every match always has a working chat, and lowers the minimum bio length to 25 characters.

Yes, Witch Finder is free to download and free to use. Free members can build a profile, swipe and match, join the Coven, and send up to 10 dating messages a day (the allowance resets at local midnight; marketplace chats don’t count). Premium is an optional subscription that adds unlimited messaging and extra dating features.

Premium adds unlimited dating chat, Rewind to undo your last swipe, a full swipe history you can undo from, Admirers (people who liked you that you can match with instantly), Visitors (who viewed your profile and how often), and a profile visibility boost in the swipe deck. Premium is billed through the App Store or Google Play and can be cancelled any time in your store settings.

Witch Finder is a small, moderated community for adults 18 and over. Moderators review content against community guidelines, you can block anyone (blocking hides you from each other everywhere in the app, in both directions), and you can hide your gender, orientation and location on your public profile. Your location is only used approximately, to calculate distance.

Yes. You can delete your account from inside the app after a short survey. If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it in your App Store or Google Play settings first — the app shows you where. A subscription that is cancelled but not yet expired does not stop deletion.

Keeping conversations inside Witch Finder helps moderators protect members from spam, scams and harassment, so the app asks you not to put social media handles in your bio. Once you match, you can chat in the app.

Yes. Witch Finder is available on the Apple App Store for iPhone and iPad and on Google Play for Android phones. You can sign up with email, Google or Apple.

Download Witch Finder, sign up with email, Google or Apple, then add your name, birthday (you must be 18+), who you want to meet, what you are looking for, your path, interests and beliefs, up to six photos and your approximate location. It takes a few minutes, and you can edit everything later.
